This Week's Obsession: The Most Popular Bags of All Time

Each season, fresh handbag trends sweep into the street style scene, and we eagerly hunt for these must-have accessories. Throughout fashion weeks and everyday street style, the fashion elite have demonstrated that certain handbags remain timeless. Currently, we're witnessing a resurgence of iconic brand pieces, from Gucci's Jackie bag to Chanel's classic flap. These classics are being reimagined in vibrant new hues, from soft pastels to shimmering metallics. Yet, sometimes it's those quintessential designer handbags that are simply irresistible, because they are, quite simply, timeless.

According to WWW (Who What Wear) If you're contemplating which luxury piece to invest in, look no further than the most iconic designer bags of all time. Achieving such status is no small feat, and while they often come with a hefty price tag, they believe they are worth every penny and deserve a cherished place in your collection. While we might argue, More is the better way to invest in them.

Year after year, they remain the most coveted (just glance at the fashion influencers below for proof), and they promise to be a stellar choice for many seasons ahead. The pressing question is, which bags make the cut for such an exclusive list? According to Rachel Ingram, CEO at Folk Social and former editor-in-chief at the bespoke luxury shopping service Threads Styling (@threadsstyling), there are 13 styles that are must-haves—without a doubt.

What bag would you add to the list?  WhatsApp us to let us know your all time favourite.  We decided to do our own list.

Love It or 'Hate' It?

Pantone Colour of the Year - Mocha Mousse

Each year, Pantone, the renowned colour authority, crowns a single shade as the ultimate trendsetter. Occasionally, their choice sparks debate, like when "peach fuzz" was overshadowed by the unexpected rise of slime green. Yet, they often hit the mark, such as with "Big Tech blue," which perfectly captured the digital shift during the pandemic.

Looking ahead, Pantone has unveiled their latest sensation: Mocha Mousse.

Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, describes it as “a soothing brown hue, rich in sensory appeal and comforting warmth, echoing our longing for coziness and the joy of sharing simple pleasures.”

That's a whole lot of comfort or is it a whole lot of boring? Some might say Mocha Mousse is just a fancy term for brown

In Laurie's view, it’s a deeper beige, but essentially, yes. It’s a creamy brown, hence the “rich” and “luxurious” descriptors. However, those with lactose intolerance might have different thoughts.

Ready to update your wardrobe with Mocha Mousse? This neutral shade suits those who love quiet luxury and minimalist style. Imagine mocha mousse pants with a light top and a pop of orange, or a white shirt with browns and beiges.

Last week, we were all in love with dark chocolate brown, perhaps a bit of Mocha Mousse, as a paired neutral? Let us know if you love or 'hate' it via WhatsApp.
